Direct Integration: Short.io and Facebook Pixel

Facebook Pixel is a piece of code, which you paste to your website to measure the flow of visitors on your page, set up custom events for future customization of the advertising campaigns.

With Short.io things are simpler!

To connect Facebook Pixel to Short.io, you don’t need to be a developer or know all about codes. The only thing you have do is to input Facebook Pixel ID to the settings of your short domain.

After the integration is set up, Short.io and Facebook Pixel create an additional action to show advertisements. Facebook shows ads only those people who have clicked a short branded link. As a result, users who were earlier interested in your brand are most likely to complete the action on your website.

Facebook Pixel and Short.io provide you with profound insights into who your audience is and what action have visitors made on your websire. The detailed analytical data is represented in Facebook Ads manager and Short.io statistics.

Follow the instruction:

  1. Go to Business Settings in Business Manager.

  2. Select your business page.

  3. Open Events Manager.

  4. Click Connect a Data Source

  1. Choose Web.

  1. Name your pixel and add your short domain => Continue

  1. Choose Manual adding of the pixel.

  2. Click Copy Code => Continue.

  1. Copy Facebook Pixel ID.

  1. Go to your Short.io account.

  2. Open the Tracking & Retargeting tab.

  1. Paste the copied ID value to the "Facebook Pixel ID" field.

  1. Save.

Now let's test pixel settings.

  1. Open the TestEvents tab in the pixel settings.
  2. Add a short URL => Click it.

If settings are correct you have to see a received event after clicking the short link.

Now the pixel is active and you can track statistics on the Pixel page.
