Short.io supports Okta, AWS SSO, PingFederate, Onelogin, ADFS, and other SAML-compatible providers to configure SSO.
Note: SSO is available on the Enterprise Plan.
Team owner needs to be assigned in Okta.
How to Set up SSO via Okta
1. Go to Short.io.
2. Open User Menu > Teams.
3. Click Setup SSO.
4. Add the name of your company to the Connection Identifier/SAML 2.0 endpoint - your team members will use this value to log in to Short.io via SSO.
Now you need to get SSO data: Identity Provider URL, Identity Provider Issuer, and X509 Certificate. For this:
5. Go to your Okta account.
6. Open Admin.
7. Choose Applications > Applications.
8. Click Create App Integration
9. Select SAML 2.0 & press Next
10. Choose the application name and click Next.
11. Paste URLs: https://authorizer.short.io/auth/saml/connection_identifier to the "Single sign-on URL" and connection identifier to the "Service Provider Entity Id" fields > Done
12. Scroll down and press Next, on the next page press Finish
13. Select the Sign On tab and click "View Setup Instructions".
14. Copy the Identity Provider Single Sign-On URL and paste it to the Short.io field named "Service Provider Issuer" under the Advanced options dropdown.
15. Copy the Identity Provider Issuer and paste it to the Short.io field named "Identity Provider Issuer".
16. Copy the full text of the X509 certificate & paste it into the Short.io certificate field
17. Scroll down and press Save
